Sometimes you may need the OS installation date. You may want to know how old is your OS or any other information related to your system. Windows does not provide direct information about the date of installation of the OS. But you can see the date of OS installation from a command prompt by giving some syntax for it. With following command you can see all the details about the producer and of your operating system. In this tutorial I focus on the installation of Windows.
systeminfoOpen a command prompt window by going to the Run menu and type "cmd" (without the quotes).
type "systeminfo" (without the quotes).
